Hans Waszink, director and owner of WAA, has over 13 years experience as actuary and advisor to a wide variety of Financial Institutions. He has succesfully led implementation projects for Economic Capital and required Solvency models at various insurers in the UK and The Netherlands. Also, he has abundant experience in the optimisation of reinsurance programs, culminating in significant bottom-line profitability improvement.
Hans Waszink is a Fellow of the Actuarial Society of The Netherlands and the British Institute of Actuaries. Throughout his career he has worked for businesses in the UK, Europe and North America. He has been a volunteer contributor to the International Actuarial Association's Solvency Subcommittee, and is co-author of the IAA's publication 'A Global Framework for Solvency Assessment' which was published in 2004.
